Great Tone Made Affordable

The PST7 series is the result of Paiste's continued development of materials and production techniques - giving you the sound and quality you're used to from Paiste cymbals at an affordable price. Made using the same CuSn8 Bronze (aka 2002 Bronze) base that their famous 2002 series is comprised of, these cymbals work great in a wide variety of musical settings to keep your kit's sound as versatile as you need it to be. The sound is brilliant and clear, warm and strong, with powerful projection. Sweetwater's drum experts will tell you the quickest way to freshen up your drum sound is with new cymbals, and Paiste makes that easy with the PST7 series.

Paiste - a tradition of innovation

Paiste meets the creative needs of drummers and percussionists with innovative cymbals, gongs, and bronze percussion instruments. Founded at the beginning of the 20th Century, Paiste lays claim to a number of cymbal firsts, including the first use of 8% bronze, the wavy-edged hi-hat bottom cymbal, the bell-less flat ride, unlathed hammered cymbals, color-coated cymbals, China cymbals with a downturned edge, and the invention of their Signature Bronze Alloy. World-class drummers such as Bill Bruford, Stewart Copeland, and Vinnie Colaiuta have long relied on Paiste cymbals to forge their signature sounds - and so can you!

Paiste's PST7 20" light ride cymbal is bright, gentle, airy, and sparkling with a fairly narrow range, and clean mix. The defined ping and clean wash and clear, strong bell sound make this a versatile enough ride to use for a variety of musical styles. The full, strong crash with articulate, unintrusive bell sound is dynamic and agile enough for acoustic music, or doing crash/ride patterns in louder musical styles.

Simply perfect!!

I know Paiste sells this as a ride cymbal but it is a great crash cymbal. It complements my 19" PST7 Crash, 19" PST7 Thin Crash and my 18" PST7 Crash perfectly. Paiste should rename it the 20" PST7 Heavy Crash.

PST 7 Satisfies

As a drummer who gigs infrequently, I was searching for a ride cymbal that offered a step up from what I've been previously using, provided everything that a good ride should, and also had an attractive price point. The Paiste PST 7 satisfied all of that for me. I couldn't be more pleased! It arrived fast and safely. Thank you so much Chris Arnold and the rest of the Sweetwater team for your superb support and attention to detail to ensure that I keep coming back.

Super nice ride

I play at a church and this ride has the right ping and amount of wash and warmth I've been searching for for over a year. After four other expensive rides I tried the PST7 based on reviews. If you're not sure just buy it. It's a quality ride at a terrific price!

Worth the price

This cymbal completes my kit. The tone of this ride cymbal is clear and crisp. The tone of the bell is as sharp or soft as it needs to be. Paiste produces a good cymbal. I'll definitely buy Paiste again!

Paiste PST7 light ride

I have been playing expensive Zildjain and My favorite Sabians for 32 years! I play for a living this is my income!! I have taken the aproch slowly to The Paiste cymbals by buying there lower line cymbals. Wow they sound better and are more controlled sounding than all of my past Purchases of high line cymbals! For me I am hooked!!! I am truly excited as a working drummer to have such an affordable great Set of Cymbals to assist me in my journey!!! Mark White...
