My honest reveiw of the Sabian B8X cymbals

I purchased these cymbals for a well-needed upgrade. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm sticking with Sabian now. These B8Xes are just so good that I had to leave a review. After playing them for a while, I've noticed a few things.
1. Construction. The build of the cymbals is excellent, and they are more durable than any brass cymbals you could find.
2. Price. The price of these cymbals is perfect for beginners needing an upgrade, someone looking to enhance a loved one's drumming experience, or someone who wants to try a different brand of cymbals.
3. Sound. The sound quality of the cymbals is outstanding. They aren't professional sounding, but they can perform a concert and sound just fine. The sound of the crashes is crisp and the feel of the stick is great. The hi-hats are perfect for any genre, from jazz to rock. The ride has a wonderful-sounding bell and is crashable.
4. Free Cymbal. A free cymbal is a game changer when it comes to buying cymbals. With the extra cymbal, you can grow your setup, keep it as a spare just in case, or put it into a stack.

My overall view is positive because there are virtually no negatives or flaws. For anyone considering to purchase this, I would very much recommend it.

Great cymbal set!

This cymbal set is great for playing live or practice. They have a very prestigious sound when played lightly during practice, or they can definitely cut through the mix if your playing live. They do have a very good sound either way. If your a heavy hitter these things are louder than the ziljans out there and sound just as good. Didnt care a lot for the hats but the rest of the set definitely makes up for it. As with any cymbal, you can get lots of different sounds out or these depending on how, where, and how hard you hit them. Using different parts of the sticks makes a difference as well. These are loud enough that they cut through mix even when played fairly lightly. My best description is easy to play cymbals. Little learning curve on the volume lol! Highly recommend buying from Sweetwater as always. They make sure your gear is right before you get it. Usually for the same price as direct from manufacturer. Did I mention the super fast shipping? Like most of the time on your doorstep the next day or so after order is placed? Excellent Professional Service!
