Retro-informed Travel Kit

The TAMA Club-Jam brings throwback vibes and old-school cool to your stage or session. The 6-ply poplar/mersawa shells, which are both shallow and compact, are quick to speak, focused, lively, and easy gigging. Retro features include a kick-mounted cymbal boom, antique round badges, and curved bass drum spurs. The Club-Jam's finish is nicely offset by a pair of natural finished wood bass hoops. An optional bag set is available; not included.

Hybrid poplar/mersawa shells

Six plies of poplar and mersawa bring a warmth and liveliness to the Club-Jam's compact shells that may shock your senses. Shells are crowned with triple-flanged hoops for a classic, fat attack and antique round badges — a rarity from TAMA — for a hip throwback look. Whether you play swing or hip-hop, rock or funk, the Club-Jam from Sweetwater is sure to scratch an itch you won't find in other kits.

One of the best small kits for the price.

It's tiny and fits anyplace. Lightweight so you can carry everything together. It's pretty looking cool. Sounds amazing and huge even for it's size.
I love mine, it's a great kit even if you already got others drum sets. It's a must tool for a working drummer nowadays.
I make a list for someone looking for a silent drum kit based on the Tama Club Jam but it's not allowed to post links here….so you can search for Evans DB One drum heads and cymbals. It's a great and have all the right sizes for this kit. Not in the packs, but if you looking for individual pieces.
Great drum set to play and make a silent kit, an option for those who want more the acoustic feel when studying. If you don't like to play in an electronic drum kit and want to play silently, this is the kit.

Cheers!

Great little kit for the money

I was very pleasantly surprised with this kit. It's loud... louder than you expect for a small scale kit. The kick has a good thump to it, and the rack tom sounds great. I had to choke the floor tom a LOT, but once I did, I was able to get a sound that I liked out of it. (Like with a lot of shell packs, the included heads are kind of trash, and I'd recommend replacing asap.)

Nice lil' kit

Very small footprint. Just what the drummer ordered. Smaller venue kit is what I wanted and this kills it. Bass has a very nice thump, needed a riser. Toms sound good (Evans G2 immediately along with an e ring), snare was the least best but a Genera Dry batter really helped. Eventually a fiberskin head for the bass but for now I'm good. Drummer friends really like the color as I do (aqua) ... bearing edges were fine, I may feather them down a little later, some very small rough spots BUT it's an inexpensive set so all in all a "great" value. Everything tuned up fine, I can get focused and or obsessed and spend more than enough time tuning , and I did. Would highly recommend this for a practice or small stage gig. Bass mounted cymbal stand is retro bitchin' too.

Beautiful & Versatile

It is really beautiful and above all, compact and light. It has a good resonant. I understand it's meritorious to use dampings. You don't need to use a rug under the kick, it's very stable. It's worth what it costs.

Very sweet kit

Definitely gotta spend a good chunk of time tuning the floor tom but other than that it sounds great. Had to replace the heads to make it sound better though
