Zildjian 12" A New Beat Hi Hats

I had a set of 12" in a different brand and they were too heavy and didnt give me the chick and the brightness I was looking for. So I spent the money on the only brand for me now, Zildjian. I added an extra Tom to my set and I am 6'3" so with my reach anything bigger than 12" was hitting my Tom. So these are not only brilliant sounding but fit in a tight space. My sales rep Parker was amazing as usual. Highly recommend. I play alternative, hard rock, metal and these are perfect! Sweetwater does it again.

12" Zildjian Hats

Owned a couple months now. New Beat A's are classic American quality. These hats are quick, crisp, with guts if you lay into them. The short Zildjian sound videos represent these pretty well.
I'am thoroughly enjoying these 12" hats, highly recommend.

Music background: Certainly not a hack.

Amazing ( not used as hi hats)

I go to a Pentecostal church and I wanted some good loud strong hand cymbals. Because we've broke a few sets that are too thin. But I bought these. AMAZING. they've never bent or bowed or cracked or anything. They are a bit heavy but they sound great. Eventually I wanted a smaller set of cymbals so I took the grinder to my set of these… long story short, they sound amazing as 10' cymbals. 5 stars. AMAZING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE TO ANY CHURCH GOER. Just be prepared to have some ringing ears afterwards.

These are sweet!

I bought these for my little garage practice kit, a Pearl Roadshow with 18" kick, 13" snare, and 10/12 toms. (With the right heads, this kit rocks!) At any rate, these 12's are PERFECT for the smaller it, and they have the best "chick" sound ever.. I have 13" A Mastersound hats that are my usual for gigs, but these 12's totally rock. Great sloshy sound and they are fast as lightening! Love these hats!
