This is one versatile little cymbal holder! It attached to either my floor tom leg or on my boom arm and adds an extra color to my setup(in my case a china). I love Atlas hardware!

I wish I had know about these when they came out.
I could have saved a lot of money.
I have this arm holding my ride cymbal. Mounted off my floor tom I dig the clean look.

I bought 2 in 2018 and out fitted my Ludwig kit which I take out to gig with with them. No more cymbals stands and I love it. I should get a commission I talk this accessories up all the time. LOVE IT. For the drummers that are tired of lugging around all this cymbal stand stuff this is your solution! ONLY WAY TO DO IT . It is a much a smaller foot print on stage.

Great! I wanted to eliminate my stands and these were the ticket. These will go on any 12.7mm rod. Lucky for me, I have 2 Gretsch kits which already use 12.7mm hardware so this was an easy decision. Paired with the Atlas Lugs and a 12.7mm L-rod, I was able to mount this to my floor tom. I put 2 of these on the base drum tom mount coming out of the bass drum with the 12" tom mounted on the Ludwig Atlas Arch. No stands other than my hi-hat and snare stands. A very nice option for a small minimalistic setup!

I employ 4 Ludwig LAP3S8 Atlas Scissor Lift Cymbal Holders in conjunction with Ludwig PM0048 Atlas Series Single Tom Clamps to minimize the number of tripod stands needed for my large double set of DW & Ludwig drums. I believe them a better solution for my needs than using numerous tripod stands or a large, bulky, difficult-to-assemble-and-move drum rack system. Small in size, yet very strong and very adjustable, these articulated extension arms are versatile, take little space and easily removed and replaced when a memory clamp is used with them. My experience convinces me that Ludwig's Atlas accessories are very well-designed and better-made that the top-of-the-line accessories of most other drum equipment manufacturers.
