Great for the Practice Pad

I don't have a marching background, but I wanted to try these for my practice pad routine. The idea being that if I am used to playing with heavy marching sticks, I will fly around the kit when I switch to my lighter (toothpick-like) sticks for drum set. I also stated using 2lb weights on each wrist for my pad work, but that's a different review for a different site. We'll see how it goes long term, but these new logs doing the trick so far.
