Built Solid AF- will totally change the way you play

Firstly, this stand is built like a TANK- super heavy duty but incredibly smooth feel. I put it right on top of my snare drum to keep my body centered when I play two handed disco beats on the hi hat. You'll be amazed how this remote hi hat stand will free up your left hand to add embellishments, and just make your kit more ergonomic and fun to play in general. Cannot recommend this enough, and thank you to Curt for hooking it up/ tracking the shipment down after it was allegedly "lost" in the mail. Well done TAMA, and well done Sweetwater

A solid piece of gear

My sales engineer, Jeff, helped me in selecting this Tama Iron Cobra remote hi hat set-up. It was easily one of the most expensive pieces of hardware, outside of my drums, I have ever plopped down the credit card for, and couldn't be more happy! This pedal came with it's own case (something I have never had before), and has that solid metal feel all of the Iron Cobra products have. The cable is long enough to reach exactly where I want both the hat and the pedal, and the rigging for the mounting bracket allows for me to place it in any config I desire. Overall a great purchase, and has me ready to replace all my pedal hardware with Tama gear. Thanks Sweetwater.

Best gear I've ever bought!

This is the best remote Hi-hat stand I've ever bought, and it's not going anywhere for a long time. Been a Tama Player/Lover for the longest time, and they never disappointed me. I need a second one now.

Excellent Remote Syestem

I have always wanted a remote system on my kit for years. Even though I had to wait forever on TAMA to get some to Sweetwater..... The functionality is superb! My only con- is to put a "drop Clutch"... I had to raid my short rod from my IC HH stand! The rod that comes with the Remote HH isn't long enough to support a drop Clutch... but since I use the longer rod on my IC HH- The short rod screwed right in and works flawlessly!
There is zero lag like one might expect! Highly recommended

Tama finally does it!!

I've been a huge fan of Tama drums and hardware, despite starting with DW hardware in the mid-1990's. When it came time to leave my old kit behind and build my current kit, I decided to try Tama...and I have never regretted that decision at all. They make solid gear at an affordable price.

The only problem I had was the lack of an Iron Cobra remote hi-hat stand. I don't really like mixing hardware brands, other than my Gibraltar rack parts, so I resigned myself to just having an X-hat for my Zildjian Trash hats.

Imagine my surprise, and satisfaction, when I saw the brand-new Tama Iron Cobra remote hi-hat (HH905RH)! I ordered it immediately and got it from Sweetwater within two days! What a treat for my kit...

I am once again impressed by the solid build quality, the numerous points of adjustability, and the smooth control that matches the feel and response of my Tama LeverGlide hi-hat stand. Tama includes a carry-case for this stand, which features separate internal pockets for the mounting clamps and for a drum key and cable "anchors." The anchors attach to tension rods to keep the cable from dangling loosely over the bass drum. There are also two Velcro ties to hold the cable in place.

All these features make the Iron Cobra remote hi-hat, in my opinion, the best remote hi-hat stand on the market. I've tried all of them except the Trick version.
